If you’ve brought your laptop, here are the resources to get started!

Basics of Coding

The courses below are recommanded to teach basic concepts in coding. They are mostly online, so there is no need to install software.

Python

• Codecademy Course
• Python Like You Mean It - More technical, Previous exposure recommanded, need to install python IDE.

Java

• Codecademy Course

Web Developement

• Codecademy Course - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Python recommanded for back-end.

Other Helpful Software:

• GitHub Dektop or GitKraken or just git if you’re that pro
• Processing 3.0
• Eclipse or any Java IDE
• Atom or any TextEditor for HTML/JS/CSS if you plan on working on Web Dev
• Android Studios or Xcode if you plan on doing App Dev
